The science

Built like skin.

Skin holds its moisture in ordered layers of lipids. Our serum and creams are built the same way: an olive-derived liquid-crystal emulsifier arranges the base in the same lamellar structure as the skin's own barrier, carrying squalane, ceramides and the actives across it rather than leaving them on top. It is the reason the textures feel the way they do, and the reason a 40 ml bottle lasts around seventy days.

The house

Know exactly the level of actives in your product.

Every active ingredient in every SQN formula is listed on its page with its exact percentage and the reason it is there: 15% L-ascorbic acid, 4% squalane, 1% tranexamic acid, 10% zinc oxide. Not "contains", not "infused with". The number. SQN is made in our own FDA-registered laboratory in Los Angeles by the chemists who designed it.
